It’s taken me nearly 2 months to catch my breath, but I’ve finally come back down to earth after our incredible Celebrate conference in August, and I’m so excited to share some moments with you over a series of posts I’ll publish over the next month, giving you all the vendor details to steal for your next event (big or small!).
After months of planning, scheduling, sourcing, coordinating and back-to-back days fuelled only by caffeine and croughnuts, this day was never going to be anything short of ah-mazing, and from all reports, it didn’t disappoint. Bringing together some incredibly talented guest speakers and industry guests, the room was a huge buzz and brought me great joy knowing we were all there to support, learn and grow our businesses and make great friends along the way.
As much as I’d like to take full credit for this event, let’s just say my attempts at floral arrangements are nothing less than dismal, so like any good event, the details were left to the experts (aka LLC Vendors)! And boy were there a few of them! So let’s get started.
Our table centrepieces
From the very beginning, I had a vibrant colour scheme in mind which I wanted brought to life with plenty of floral arrangements, balloons, gold and white accents for a fun, modern and glamorous room – not a huge request!
To help bring this all together, I worked with LLC Vendor Shelley of Paper Face Party who styled the venue and florals and who enlisted the assistance of Rochelle from A la Roch who instantly understood the brief and created our gorgeous topper signs as part of the custom table centrepieces.
How incredible are they?!
Using plywood, our theme colours and various fonts, Rochelle instantly understood the vision and delivered above and beyond – THANK YOU!!!
Cake toppers are a huge trend at the moment and Rochelle can create any design you like out of wood or acrylic – but think above and beyond using them for just cakes! Think wall art, table centrepieces like ours, name places and more. Edible images are also available to customise your wedding, engagement, birthday or special occasion.
So there you have it – your first closeup glimpse of our HUGE day and the details that made it memorable. I can’t thank you enough for your hard work on this event A La Roch!
Next on our list of details to reveal are the mini pinata’s we used on the tables (not for smashing in case you were wondering!). Stay tuned!
A pink and gold colour combo is still so popular at the moment – it is the perfect mix of pretty and elegant! It suits everything from a Christening to a 1st birthday, from a baby shower to a 5th birthday!
There are so many party supplies available to suit a pink and gold party which can be found via businesses on the Directory – and it was hard to narrow down a small selection for this blog post!
However I’ve curated this selection to get you started with your party planning and as you click on the source links (under the collage) you will discover LLC partners on the Directory who have more pink and gold items on their website.
Enjoy!:

Ahhh mint green…a colour I am always tempted to include in my party colour schemes as I just love it!
It goes beautifully with many other colours – seen very often with gold as well as other pastels and would work just as well for a boy’s party with grey, or light blue. Or step out of the box as this post suggests – “Mint to be” on the Oh It’s Perfect blog where Ania (From 2 Love Birds) has teamed mint green with black and white!
I’ve included a gorgeous mint/gold party in this collage by Sugar Coated Mama, but also must make mention of this mint/gold Christening party styled by Thetis of Little Sooti which is a stand out celebration!

If you’re looking for something in mint green that I haven’t included, simply e-mail me at lifeslittlec@gmail.com and I’ll let you know where to find it. Also make sure you visit the Life’s Little Celebration’s children’s party directory as well in the midst of your party planning!

Is mint green making an appearance at the next party you’re planning?
Black and white – two colours which work well with so many others – so put them together and it’s a winning combination.
Add in a 3rd colour if you wish, anything goes with these two.
So here is some inspiration for any black and white celebrations you are planning!
