This week Life’s Little Celebrations facebook page hit 3000 likers! Numbers are not the focus for me with my blog and facebook page but it still gives me a little reason to celebrate and to do some shout-out’s and thank you’s to various businesses who have been a part of the journey so far (without wanting to sound like I am doing an Oscar speech!!)
Honestly though, the ‘party community’ is so welcoming and supportive of each other and although I cannot mention everyone here, all the party businesses I have come to know via facebook and the ladies behind these businesses are amazing!

Ok..sorry for my Oscar speech! If I’ve left anyone out please forgive me…I’m heavily sleep deprived!! =)
It’s time to get back to blogging…perhaps a bit ambitious after only 6 weeks since the birth of my second daughter I know! My blog has been neglected for a while now due to busyness and tiredness with my pregnancy and moving house. I lost some of my inspiration and motivation for blogging during that time with all the other things going on.
However despite being sleep deprived I now feel excited about getting back into the Life’s Little Celebrations blog and providing you with party ideas and where to find items to match your themes =)
I won’t be posting as detailed and long posts as previously which contained sometimes over 100 products and would take a few hours to prepare! I do have 2 kids now under 2 years of age and they are my priority =)
However I will still be showcasing some great ideas and products for various themes and parties in general. I will also again be offering my Party Inspiration board service for those of you who want more detailed ideas and sources for decorations, printables, favours, tableware, etc.
Along with this I hope to write other blog posts on topics relating to parties generally – all written from the perspective of an average mum. I am not a stylist or party planner and I don’t have an unlimited party budget or a never ending stock of party items – I am a mum, like most of you, wanting to celebrate my little one’s with a lovely celebration!
So thank you all for patiently bearing with me and I hope you will join me once again!

I took a break over Christmas/New Year and I know I have been a bit slow in my blog posts since the end of last year and I can finally tell you why!
We are expecting baby number #2 in July…another “little celebration”!
I found out 1 week before my daughters 1st birthday party. After about 2 weeks total exhaustion set in….I am sure you all know what that first trimester exhaustion is like (particularly for pregnancies after your first when you have other kids to look after!). So hence my blog posting did quieten down! I am just going into my 2nd trimester now and the energy levels are still a bit low so please bear with me! =)
In the midst of this we decided to sell our place and we are now in the midst of packing and will need to be out by the end of January….so it is a big month!
So please accept my apologies if my blog posting is a bit slow this month also (even though I’d much rather be blogging than packing!!!).
I just really wanted to explain my quietness to all of you lovely blog readers =) Thanks for understanding and watch out for more inspiration in 2012 =)
I had planned to have a new party theme blog post for you before Christmas – one based around a Mermaid theme after so many facebook pages shared the Mermaid party theme shoot that I was involved with for Tickle the Imagination magazine =)
However my plans to complete this post tonight got delayed due to computer issues AND a feverish teething bub so this post so it is going to have to wait until the new year!
So I wanted to take this opportunity now to wish all of my blog readers and supporters a beautiful Christmas filled with the true joy of the Christmas season! I hope you have a lovely time celebrating it with your family and friends and remembering the very first Christmas was celebrated in a Stable, so even if your Christmas lunch/party isn’t amazingly styled or perfect it’s all about celebrating Christmas with all you who love and teaching our little ones about this wonderful time of the year =)
I will not be blogging until the 10th January as I’ll be enjoying some time with visiting relatives over the Christmas and New Year period.
This blog journey which I started in June this year has been a joyful one only because of each of YOU coming along, sharing positive feedback and encouragement and reading this blog! I have delighted in that community and thank you for your support !

This aims to be an easy point of reference for you in the midst of your party planning to help you find some great party suppliers!
Sometimes it is just too difficult to find really lovely products/services online or via facebook by just searching yourself and I know as a mum I would find it a lot easier to compare different products/services if I had a party directory resource to go to!
Since there is a fee involved in listing in the Party Directory, you won’t get lost in tens or hundreds of supplier names, but presented with a list of quality suppliers who want to help mum’s like you in your celebration!
Any business logo you click on in the Party Directory will take you directly to the website or facebook page of that business.
I hope you find this resource of assistance to you in your party planning. I do have future plans for this Party Directory to make it even easier for you to search for what you are after…but all this must wait until 2012!
