Disco kids birthday party feature – Good vibes only!

I am SO excited to share with you this amazing disco party by Memorable Parties Perth . This party will blow you away! Skye from Memorable Parties in Perth shares more with us below:

“Good Vibes Only was the concept for Asher’s 7th birthday party, which combined a pamper bus with sparkle dance party for a full afternoon extravaganza! Having launched Memorable Parties Perth 9 months prior, it was my opportunity to work with some of my favourite and trusted vendors to give my daughter a party to remember!

The concept and colour scheme began from custom acrylic plate discs and drink swizzle sticks, featuring fun pre-teen motifs such as conversation hearts, kissing lips, and rainbows in vibrant pink and peach tones.

A neon ‘Let’s Party’ sign and phenomenal preserved floral arrangement, including silver baubles to mimic pops of silver balloon orbs, added the perfect finishing touch to an epic balloon and streamer feature wall installation which was styled to match the colour scheme.

A new fairy floss cone arch ‘wall’ and gourmet fairy floss cart, embellished with more balloons, was the perfect extension of wall installation which spanned the warehouse. Floss cones featured the same pre-teen motifs to stay on theme. With flavours such as birthday cake and marshmallow, the floss was a popular sugar hit to fuel the dance party.

So as not to detract from the feature wall, we choose to display desserts on acrylic, with iridescent and pink plinths displaying additional desserts. Aside from dictating colours, I put full trust in Tenielle from Savour the Date to create a trio of birthday cakes which we set at varying heights on custom acrylic stands.

Other desserts included donuts, cake cones with acrylic swizzle sticks, mini cupcakes, apricot marshmallows, chocolate pyramids, chocolate covered pretzels, cakesicles with acrylic pop sticks, and my favourite salted caramel tarts

Preserved florals also featured on children’s tables which were adored with pink iridescent fabric, pink chairs, and included table wear, kissing lip napkins, & bon bons in the colour palette.

Asher’s nickname is Smasher, so we included a mini heart smash cake at each place setting, individually boxed with miniature wooden malate and tag ‘I hope you had a smashing time!’ Fresh vibrate grazing, with crowd favourite sliders, looked to be gravitating on acrylic risers along the length of the table.

When guests arrived, we loaded them with healthy grazing before the pamper bus drove up and was met with shrieks of excitement. Asher had eagerly watched videos of the pamper bus on socials for months and was ecstatic it was finally her turn.

Donning cute dressing gowns, the girls entered the bus like royalty via red carpet. The girls delighted in declaring the bus a parent-free zone, affording us 90 minutes to reset the room ready for the disco and enjoy some drinks and grazing in peace!

The girls were pampered with essential oil and rose petal foot spas, toe polish, and hair styling as they chatted, giggled, and read age-appropriate magazines.

Whilst having their hair styled, Asher’s friends completed custom ‘Asher is a special friend because’ worksheets which were given to Asher as beautiful keepsakes.

The pampering concluded with neon face paint and dancing to their music of choice under the buses UV lights.

The girls exited the pamper bus with massive smiles, looking glam and ready to continue the party with Born to Sparkle’s sparkle dance party!

A sparkle technician was on hand to sparkle guests with glitter tattoo and face sparkles as our party host conducted non-stop games and dancing whilst the DJ spun the tunes. Crowd favourites included the parachute, industrial bubble machine and limbo.

I was nervous leading up the party – with a 5-hour duration I was afraid the kids would be tired and emotional come dance party time; however, the party host was so remarkable and kept the kids pumped and entertained – you would never have guessed they had already been partying for hours.

I could not be prouder of this party! My amazing vendors nailed their briefs and brought their A-game to deliver an epic event to remember.” – Skye, Memorable Parties Perth.
