Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Baptism

‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ was the first song that my 2 daughter’s sang to Joshua in the hospital after he was born – and so his Baptism theme was inspired by this sweet theme in shades of blue and silver.

I’m thrilled to be able to share with you some details from my son’s Joshua’s Baptism party setup which was recently featured on Babyology here!

All credits are at the end of the post and of course are all vendors from the Life’s Little Celebration’s children’s party directory.

We had a small celebration at home after the Baptism and here is the dessert table setup with the cake made by my sister who was Joshua’s Godmother:

A side view of the table…I just loved this blue console table hired from Sweet Heavenly Events Hire. I kept the setup quite simple as you can see…as much as I LOVE all the detailed setups I see online I always keep my setups quite easy because I know in the mad rush of getting the party ready as well as looking after the kids – it is less stressful to have an easy dessert table layout!

These handmade geometric stars were so cleverly made by ‘Paper Face’!:

The kids table was kept fairly simple. I hired some cute kids ghost chairs and mixed up the tableware with blues and silver and star serviettes and star labels for the water bottles (by Memories Are Sweet):

Floral Baptism Celebration – Real Party

I was very excited and grateful that my daughter’s Baptism celebration was been featured on the Party Inspirations blog!

My daughter Naomi Grace had her Baptism celebration one week after my elder daughters birthday party – so in order to avoid too much stress I kept it very simple and small!

Everything was based around a floral garden look/feel.

Sharon from Cakes by Sharon created the gorgeous ruffle Christening cake. I had seen this ruffle cake design by Sharon and loved it and knew I wanted it for my daughter’s Christening.

To match the floral feel, Dunne with Style made an absolutely gorgeous fabric flower garland as well as toppers which I used atop the little jars of white chocolate mousse. To say these were gorgeous is an understatement! The mousse was served with some floral spoons – image and more details further down this post.

Another favourite item of mine were the pink picket fences I used around the platters which I sourced from Saffy & May and were perfect for the floral/garden feel.

I used floral printed pop sticks from Polkadot Prints for the oreo pops I made.

I had a little drink area set up and reused the pink ruffle garland I used at Rebekah’s birthday party from Emerald and Ella. The drink dispenser is from Leo & Bella and I just added a doily decoration onto it to dress it up a little.

I set up a little area where I had the party favours – chocolate bars & wrappers for the adults from Bespoke Party Products and goodies for the kids in beautiful floral favour bags from Sweet Celebrations. The floral garden mat I placed my daughter’s picture frame on is also from Sweet Celebrations.

I used the gorgeous pom poms from Rebekah’s party again here too. They were made by Pom Pom Princess.

Here is a close up of the chocolate bars and wooden spoons from Bespoke Party Products. I thought they were just divine! I loved that I could purchase the chocolate bars with wrappers all together because with Rebekah’s party the week before I simply didn’t have time to cut printables and prepare these myself!

The name print & blocks were from Retro Ragamuffins and I LOVE them! They are now in her room which she will eventually move into once she outgrows her bassinet. On the name print I had “Naomi” as well as the meaning of her name underneath: delightful, pleasant,  beautiful!

And here is my little darling….my favourite picture of the entire day =)

Real Party Feature – Lalaloopsy Baptism Celebration

I swooned when I saw the images of this Lalaloopsy Baptism celebration by Kate from Piece of Cake Parties & Celebrations for her daughter Paige! Kate decided to setup various tables each styled around the personality and characteristics of a different Lalaoopsy doll. What results is a gorgeously detailed and thought out celebration with loads of prettiness!

The main table was set up in front of their cubby house (looks like a dream cubby house!) and this backdrop is just gorgeous! Love the chandelier, gold birdcages and the pretty bunting which all work so well together! It is honestly stunning!

On this table Kate had cupcakes, white chocolate mousse, cookies and other sweets along with Paige’s beautiful two tiered Christening cake, decorated with sweet icing buttons & bows.

I just love the extra detail added to these mousse pots and drink bottles including the way the platters have been decorated:

This drinks table is ever so sweet and demonstrates a great set up which you could use for your own parties.

Styled around another of the dolls is this Morning Tea table with scones, jams and strawberry custard tarts complete with a biscuit tiled floor! I just love this beautiful table:

Also set up was an assorted cakes and dessert table again based around one of the Lalaloopsy dolls which has a connection with bandages, bumps and bruises – hence the cute extra bandage details on this table!

A lot of the party wares came from Kate’s own online store Piece of Cake Parties & Celebrations however there were lots of other great suppliers involved and full credits and sources can be found in the full blog post on this celebration.

Thank you Kate for giving me the opportunity to showcase this beautiful celebration for Paige!
