Rebekah’s 1st Holy Communion

8 years ago when I started Life’s Little Celebrations Rebekah was only 6 months old…so it is surreal to now be sharing her Holy Communion photos! This was featured in Issue 8 of Celebrating Little One’s magazine so you may have seen the feature already but if not I hope you enjoy the photos and may be inspired for your own daughters First Holy Communion.

I really enjoyed planning the post Church Holy Communion Celebration as it was something I had never done before and it was a celebration which was truly special for Rebekah and for our family.

I decided to use the Event Angel services of Sweet Heavenly Events so that they could setup while I was at the Church. This removed a lot of stress and it was SO nice to walk into a room after the Church and be surprised at the beautiful setup which was done while I was at the Mass. Using the Event Angel service meant I could still be involved in deciding on vendors I wanted to use and the setup style – but they could also provide advice and then design a look for the day and set it all up for us.

I decided to go with a beautiful floral theme for her First Holy Communion celebration and this was the design from the Event Angel:

The florals were all inspired by the invitation by Eve and Co!

Jo’s Sign’s by Design created the stunning decals applied to the props from Sweet Heavenly Events.

The amazing Madame Fleur created the beautiful florals on the tables and the dessert setup and they were gorgeous!!

The beautiful cake by The Ultimate Food Co matched perfectly (and tasted delicious!) and was topped by a stylish topper by Communicake It:

The kids were provided also a customised lollipop from Delleicious by Elle:

Rebekah felt truly special on the day and it helped her also realise the significance of the event and we hope she remembers this day forever!

Mary Poppins party shoot

Let’s go fly a kite…! I loved Mary Poppins along with the newest Mary Poppins Returns – the music, the costumes, the acting – and my daughters loved it too! It makes such a gorgeous party theme so I loved seeing this take on a Mary Poppins party incorporating different aspects from the movie such as the carousel scene, the penguins and the “lets go fly a kite” song.

Cookie Queen Kitsch’n coordinated this Mary Poppins party shoot for our magazine with other vendors from the Celebrate Society and the overall setup along with the details are truly inspiring! You can find the full vendor list at the end of this post so you can source all the various items or vendors yourself!

I love the gorgeous table setting against the backdrop of the slumber party teepees!

Such gorgeous tableware which I would never have thought to put into a Mary Poppins theme however it works perfectly!!

Styled by Signature Event Styling in Melbourne who collaborated with other Celebrate Society members to create this stunning setup inspired by a ‘Pumpkin Carriage in wonderland’ Princess party theme!

The balloons and Cinderella carriage prop were true stand outs in this setup!

The wonderful venue MC Soiree created the perfect space for this party!

I love the pinata fringe plinth and the gorgeous circle backdrop with giant bow!:

The cake and desserts were truly so beautiful and truly suited this Princess theme! We love the Castle cake and “once upon a time” cake topper!
