So many mums are loving soft play toys at the moment for their kids parties as they are SO perfect for the toddler/preschooler age group which are harder to entertain by other means! For older kids, the slumber party trend has exploded lately! Kings Party Hire in Melbourne meets the needs of both these age groups with their wonderful hire range!
King’s Party Hire began after owner Katie worked as a nanny in London. Being such a popular industry Katie moved back to Melbourne in 2014 realising there weren’t many companies offering soft play hire in Melbourne. And so the idea ten became reality, King’s Party Hire was born.
King’s Party Hire have something for everyone. From Soft Play zones to keep your youngest guests happy, or children’s ordinary sleepovers being transformed into magical Slumber Parties.
The team at King’s Party Hire love seeing how happy the kids are and the best reviews they can get is when they come to collect the equipment and the children don’t want it to go or the party to end.
What you can hire: Starting with enough soft play items to do one party a day, they now have a large range of soft play items aimed at babies and toddlers and they add new equipment every year.
From differently sized ball pits to soft foam playhouses, foam shapes for building and creating, bouncy animals, with safety mats included, jumping castles, kids tables and chairs and now slumber party hire items for the older children.
King’s Party Hire get a lot of happy customers who love that the children are kept busy and entertained throughout the party, especially at venues where there might be nothing else for the children to do. It means all the parents can relax and enjoy the party too.
They will deliver, set up and collect at the end of the party so there’s no stress when organizing the kid’s entertainment. They also do the occasional public event, markets, Christmas festivals and they will even be at a car show in a few weeks time.
So whether it is soft play for toddlers and preschools or teepees for a slumber party – if you’re a Melbourne mum, head to King’s Party Hire to find out more!
Has your house been invaded by slime yet?
Ours has – multiple times! Thankfully I was worded up on a handy tip to use vinegar to remove it from any surface (including carpet), so the slippery, slimey fun can continue. It’s since sparked a wave of interest in science experiments and my kids have even been creating more slime at school…and bringing it home (*thank you…not*)!
A science and slime party theme is perfect for inquisitive school aged children, and we’ve found some great items to help pull it all together – and then watch an episode of Myth Busters or Operation Ouch! for some more inspiration!

Science and Slime Party Entertainment
Some things are sometimes best left to the experts, and out of the house! So consider a party entertainer that can supply all the equipment or a venue that doesn’t require you to clean up for the ultimate in messy science fun!

It’s so great to see kids interested and excited in science, so why not encourage it with a science and slime party. Mums and Dads might even enjoy it too!
Llamas have been one of the most popular trends this year and definitely a fun and unique kids party theme! So it was a no-brainer we had to have a Life’s Little Celebrations collaboration shoot in our magazine with a Llama theme! Saffy & May in Queensland brilliantly styled and coordinated this shoot with other members and as you can see…the result is llama-mazing!
The setup brought in huge pops of colour, as well as cactus decor to bring in the mexican fiesta feel!
The Llama cake and llama and cactus desserts were just perfect for this party! Especially with a unique theme where it is hard to find items in the shops…using our kids party members who can custom create items such as toppers is the way to go to keep everything coordinated!
This party is an inspiration for any bright theme, whether it be a llama theme, mexican fiesta or just any summery kids party!
You can find it all and more in Issue 5 of our e-magazine!
