A panda party is a really cute and unique kids party theme for a birthday party! With the release of the latest kung fu panda movie I thought this would be a fun kids party theme to blog about although I have gone with a generic panda party theme for the blog post
A panda party is one of those unique kids birthday party themes that you won’t easily find matching party decorations for. However all you need is some black and white party supplies (which are easily found especially with the monochrome look being on trend at the moment!) with a Panda balloon and panda cake/desserts – so I have curated a selection for you from businesses you can find on the Directory
Remember to CLICK on any image to be taken directly to where you can find that item!
You don’t need to keep it all black and white however. You could mix in some greenery which also would totally work in with a Panda party look!

Today I’m sharing such a gorgeous first birthday party with a Twinkle Twinkle little star party theme by Alex of Saffy and May (Qld) for her daughter!
This is one of my favorite themes (and one I used for my son’s Baptism dessert table) and I recently blogged here sharing party supplies for a twinkle twinkle little star party theme
Alex explains the inspiration behind this first birthday party:
“I started planning for my little one’s first birthday pretty much after she was born. I didn’t have a set theme to start off but I knew I wanted pastels colours, confetti and a touch of glitter gold.
Then at around 6 months, it became clear that Sahara’s favourite lullaby was and still is twinkle twinkle little star. So I sent my mood board to Belinda from Giggles & Grace Designs and she designed the sweetest printables”:
I just love the way the star theme is carried through this first birthday dessert table from the cake topper and cake to all the desserts and accessories:
This setup is so beautiful with a custom first birthday print! An area such as this at a first birthday party is perfect for special photos:
Alex explains more about this sweet setting at the party – “when possible, I love adding to my girls’ parties handmade touches. On this occasion, I made some party horns with fringed tissue paper. I also made a star cushion which is now in Sahara’s nursery. We had a small favour table with party boxes and a selection of photos from Sahara’ s first 12 months. I also decorated a small section with balloons, star stickers , a high chair and a cute milestone poster for Sahara and family to have photos taken”
Personalised and handmade touches make any birthday party extra special but moreso for that memorable first birthday party!
The little queen of the party herself – such a joyful smile and her cute first birthday outfit is styled to match her gorgeous party!:
This beautiful first birthday party really shines doesn’t it? If you’re planning a twinkle twinkle little star party, you can find lots of party supplies here for this sweet party theme!

I’m excited to share with you the first of 4 shoots put together as a Life’s Little Celebrations collaboration for the latest Confetti Fair Magazine! The shoots were inspired by air, fire, water and earth – and this baby shower was inspired by “air”
It was styled by the talented Meghan of Peppermint Sunday in Melbourne who coordinated many talented Life’s Little Celebration partners to contribute to this gorgeous setting. See all vendor credits at the end of this blog post:
Meghan’s vision for the Baby Shower to relate to an “Air” theme was to include Clouds, Balloons & Kites. To tie in the baby shower element, she brought in the “About to Pop”
Using various Life’s Little Celebration partners she created a baby shower which was pastel, fun and a bit quirky, with a pop of colour at the same time!
This baby shower cake was so pretty and unique – the colours really work so beautifully and the cake topper is so fun! “About to pop” really is a wonderful idea for a baby shower party theme!:
I just love this unique baby shower invitation with the balloon popping out of the invitation box when opened!:
I just love the mix of kite and cloud cookies in this baby shower backdrop!:
The baby shower favour packaging really is so lovely!:

Ah, shopping around for party supplies… some love it, some hate it. For those that would prefer to spend their Saturday afternoon hanging with the kids or enjoying some ‘me’ time, I’ve got something to share with you today that I know will help!
You will be thrilled to discover what I’m introducing to you today from The Kit Source who want to make it as simple as possible to prep for a party. They create stylish kits of party supplies, so you can have your party sorted quickly.
But they realised that wasn’t enough, many people wondered if they could create their own Party Kit. Well, now you can, using their proven party formula and the CUSTOM KIT BUILDER.
As an extra bonus – as a fan of the Life’s Little Celebrations blog, The Kit Source is offering you a HUGE 30% off the first Custom Party Kit you build – that’s a saving of up to $40! Simply use the code LLCPARTYTIME by 31st May 2016.
WHAT IS IT?
Their exclusive Custom Kit Builder is a handy platform that guides you through the process of choosing your own plates, cups, napkins, cutlery, straws and favour bags, to match the party theme of your choice!
I know that I love to be able to coordinate partyware and using this custom party kit builder I can visualise how all the different items will mix and match together on the day!:
WHY?
Lel from The Kit Source explains where the idea of their Custom Kit Builder originated from: “With all the amazing, unique party themes out there, we simply couldn’t create a Kit for all of them. We all love to customise what we purchase, to match our own style or preference. So now you can create a Party Kit for any theme imaginable!
We know that there are tonnes of other party stores, all with amazing products, but rarely do they help you purchase exactly what you need, for the amount of guests you’ll be having. Most stores leave you to your own devices, to style everything on your own, while struggling to working out how many of each item you’ll need. With our web-app, we’re taking the guesswork out of party planning.”
WHERE DO I START?
It’s easy! First, launch the Custom Kit Builder.
Next, you simply work through the steps, selecting your number of guests, then each of your party items.
Once you’re happy, you simply add it to the cart and you’re done. Too simple!
BUT THERE’S MORE!
They also have a great range of party decorations already in Kits, but are working furiously behind the scenes to launch a Custom Decoration Kit Builder. It sounds like its going to be amazing – hanging decorations, confetti balloons in a range of colours, streamers, bunting and more!
Oh, and if you need inspiration for your own Party Kit, they’ve put together a number of sample looks into a swanky lookbook; some of my faves are the Tropicana, Natural Chic and Minecraft themed creations!
I’m sure you’ll have fun creating your own themed party kits, and just a reminder that as a fan of the Life’s Little Celebrations blog, The Kit Source is offering you a HUGE 30% off the first Custom Party Kit you build – that’s a saving of up to $40! Simply use the code LLCPARTYTIME by 31st May 2016.
So what are you waiting for?
Time to party plan and build your own party kit!
Happy celebrating!
