As the feedback from our Celebrate conference attendees continues to flow in, so too do the questions from our social followers on ‘where did you get that?’ as I (slowly) get around to releasing more images. So hang tight as I intend to fill you in on all the details of the LLC vendors who helped make the event as magical as it was, I promise! If you missed my previous posts, you can get up to speed with all details on the table centrepieces and how we used the gorgeous mini pinatas.
Having recently worked with Natalie from Foamtastic Party Decor for our son’s first birthday celebration I knew the quality of her work. Working with Shelley from Paper Face who styled the conference, the idea of our brand being blown up to a life sized installation came to mind, and being the clever soul she is, Natalie did just that.
The letters were cleverly dressed up with balloons from Party Splendour with balloon tails from Paper Face
Doubling as a pretty cool photo backdrop (if I do say so myself!) these giant foam letters were so were easy enough to pick up, making installation a breeze, and some fun photos too.
This photo gives you an idea of where the letters were placed in the room and you can see the impact they can make at an event:
Making a nice change from the popular letter lights, Foamtastic can produce any sized sign, letter or shape you can think of, and they make great room decor too after the occasion. Our son’s name below now takes pride and place in his bedroom on the mantle.
Here are a few other samples of what Foamtastic Party Decor can create for a celebration:
Used on backdrops or stand alone props, there is seriously no end to what you can have created – only limited by your imagination!
Thank you so much for your help Natalie!

“I don’t want to waste money on invitations, because people just throw them out”
Sound familiar?
Today we chat to Daniella – owner and Creative Director of Eve&Co. who explains that hearing someone say that makes her inwardly cringe. She explains “stationery is a huge part of my life and its heartbreaking hearing ‘throwaway’ statements. It’s also not entirely true!”
In our busy times where e-mail and sms invitations are becoming more common – receiving an invitation in the mail is always something special and I know my children love looking at an invitation on the fridge as a tangible reminder of an exciting event to come!
Daniella shares more of her amazingly gorgeous invitations with us today along with her thoughts on how they can be used to set the perfect first impression for a special celebration…
“Invitations are your event’s big introduction. They create excitement and anticipation, and set the tone for what you’ve got planned – whether it be a lavish wedding, christening celebration or even your child’s first, second, third, the numbers go up and up – birthday party.
So much thought and planning go into these events to make them special and unique to your guest of honour, why would you skimp on the very piece of communication that entices your guests to attend and join the celebration?
In short, if you’re going to throw an amazing party – then you should send amazing invitations!
They should be one-of-a-kind, wow-your-guests and designed specifically for your event and theme. In turn, it will keep them out of the trash and in the memory books.
People will certainly throw out unappealing invitations that blatantly show there was no thought or effort put into them. No one expects a guest to keep something even the host doesn’t care about.
Having said that, they also don’t need to break the bank to have that ‘wow’ factor. You’d be surprised at how beneficial it is to speak to an experienced bespoke stationer when it comes to planning your event – and invitations should always be your first port of call after the theme has been set.
A good creative will always be keen to discuss realistic options based on your own budget while still giving your event stationery the custom, one-of-a-kind treatment it deserves.
Working with so many wonderful clients and helping their event themes come to life through invitations and paperie is what we’re truly passionate about at Eve&Co.
We absolutely love being given a theme (and often times, our clients will come to us with only that) for us to work our magic on, and voila! – amazing things happen.
Our unique approach and fully bespoke service sets us apart. Every single piece is custom designed, hand assembled and hand finished – ensuring your guests receive only the finest in stationery for your event’s big introduction and beyond.
If you’re looking for a truly one of a kind stationery or invitation, then contact Eve & Co – you won’t be dissapointed!

What could be sweeter than fairy floss? How about 2 kids enjoying a whole cotton candy milk bar?
That was the inspiration and setting of this amazing Life’s Little Celebrations collaboration shoot – bringing together many partners from the Directory for a special shoot for the latest issue of Sweet Magazine
The vision was created and brought to life by the talented ladies of Sugar Monk in Sydney who not only brought their styling expertise but also their handmade touches through the signage and tassels
I’m thrilled to share this party which made the front cover of Sweet Magazine!
The dessert table was full of colourful desserts – some of which incorporated fairy floss in many cute and unique ways! All fairy floss was supplied by Fluffy Crunch who spun fairyfloss during the shoot and also provided their wonderful fairy floss party favour tubs!:
The whole setup brought back a retro milk bar feel:
I hope you enjoy all the amazing details of this shoot and it inspires you for your next celebration!

Until next time…happy celebrating!
It’s taken me nearly 2 months to catch my breath, but I’ve finally come back down to earth after our incredible Celebrate conference in August, and I’m so excited to share some moments with you over a series of posts I’ll publish over the next month, giving you all the vendor details to steal for your next event (big or small!).
After months of planning, scheduling, sourcing, coordinating and back-to-back days fuelled only by caffeine and croughnuts, this day was never going to be anything short of ah-mazing, and from all reports, it didn’t disappoint. Bringing together some incredibly talented guest speakers and industry guests, the room was a huge buzz and brought me great joy knowing we were all there to support, learn and grow our businesses and make great friends along the way.
As much as I’d like to take full credit for this event, let’s just say my attempts at floral arrangements are nothing less than dismal, so like any good event, the details were left to the experts (aka LLC Vendors)! And boy were there a few of them! So let’s get started.
Our table centrepieces
From the very beginning, I had a vibrant colour scheme in mind which I wanted brought to life with plenty of floral arrangements, balloons, gold and white accents for a fun, modern and glamorous room – not a huge request!
To help bring this all together, I worked with LLC Vendor Shelley of Paper Face Party who styled the venue and florals and who enlisted the assistance of Rochelle from A la Roch who instantly understood the brief and created our gorgeous topper signs as part of the custom table centrepieces.
How incredible are they?!
Using plywood, our theme colours and various fonts, Rochelle instantly understood the vision and delivered above and beyond – THANK YOU!!!
Cake toppers are a huge trend at the moment and Rochelle can create any design you like out of wood or acrylic – but think above and beyond using them for just cakes! Think wall art, table centrepieces like ours, name places and more. Edible images are also available to customise your wedding, engagement, birthday or special occasion.
So there you have it – your first closeup glimpse of our HUGE day and the details that made it memorable. I can’t thank you enough for your hard work on this event A La Roch!
Next on our list of details to reveal are the mini pinata’s we used on the tables (not for smashing in case you were wondering!). Stay tuned!
In my last post, I promised you more details of our Celebrate conference so you can steal our style for your next event, or just get a head start on finding the perfect vendor to pull off your own vision. If you missed the post, you can read it here for all the details on our table centrepieces, and stay tuned as we bring you a more reveals each week.
Today we’re looking at another table detail which was a huge hit as they were are a hugely popular decorating item that doubles as a game, but aren’t often found as mini’s or used for table decoration like we used them for!
Mini Pinata’s
Yes, MINI pinata’s!!
In my opinion, styling is about personalisation and interpretation. So when I came across these mini pinata’s by Party Pony designer pinatas, I knew they weren’t destined to be hung, and certainly not bashed by a stick (would have made for a very interesting conference…).
Instead, we used them on tables – and were styled by Paper Face as part of some of the centrepieces.
Owner Nicola created a mix of diamond and heart shapes in our theme colours, which we then used as centrepieces on tables. Pinata’s are hugely popular as decorations these days, doubling as a bit of (bashful) fun, but using them in an unexpected way is a great talking point for guests.
Nicola can custom make these to your requirements, so let your imagination run wild and run your ideas past her – think cake toppers, photo props or room decor.
Nicola also creates custom tassel garlands and balloon tails for a cohesive look to your event, and you can see more of her work or shop from her website.
I can’t thank you enough for all your hard work on this event Nicola! Contact Party Pony Designer Pinata’s to see their full range or order a custom pinata
I hope this feeds your imagination and has you thinking about how you’ll use an item differently. I’ll be bringing you more details of the styling, props, balloons and more soon so stay tuned!
