With Easter just a day away I’m sharing this gorgeous Easter Table setup for the kids put together by Saffy and May who collaborated with a few other vendors from the Life’s Little Celebration’s children’s party directory. I love the rustic and relaxed feel of this Easter party and the cute Easter Egg hunt station!
As Alex from Saffy and May explains:
“I created a little Easter tablescape for the little ones to enjoy morning tea.
Also I arranged a small Easter egg hunt station with buckets to take home filled with Easter eggs and cookies
I fell in love with the Country Easter printables by Sweet Scarlet Design especially the gingham print and the gender neutral colours.
The most talented Helen from Baked Cakes and Cupcakery made the cute little cake and gorgeous sugar cookies.
Edible images by A La Roch:
My lovely friend Elaine from Elaine Ruth Photography captured the most beautiful images. So blessed to work with these amazing ladies !
Our party supplies available from Saffy & May include the hessian bags, bamboo plates and tin buckets. Our party hire includes American folding chairs, kids table, ruffled tablecloth and white ladder.
Thank you Alex from Saffy and May for sharing this gorgeous and unique Easter party and Easter egg hunt station for kids!
Wishing you all a wonderful Easter tomorrow with your family and friends!
I can finally blog about Rebekah’s 4th birthday party which was recently shared on Kara’s Party Ideas here.
As always when planning this party I used only vendors from the Life’s Little Celebration’s children’s party directory and the main reason I share these party photos is to credit them and share their items so if you are looking for anything I’ve used you know where to find it!
All photos are by Nikki from Nikki Fitt Photography. Nikki always captures such beautiful shots and is great with kids. Despite also being 34 weeks pregnant on the day Nikki still went over and above to capture all the details and moments we wanted which I have now made into a photobook for Rebekah and us to enjoy to remember her birthday.
Rebekah being a typical 4 year old girl wanted a Princess party and pink and gold was an obvious colour choice! We started with these watercolour pink/gold invitations from Jo Studio which I thought were so pretty and I used the matching printables throughout the party:
Being 34 weeks pregnant with #3 I wanted to keep the dessert table simple so I could easily set the desserts out on the day. The decorations made everything sparkle but it was quite an easy setup!
The gold sequin tablecloth from Any Occasion Events really made the table special. The quality is gorgeous and I know it is a tablecloth I can reuse for other special occasions.
The tablecloth was complimented by the backdrop with the words “Born to sparkle” being a custom decal made by PS Made with Love. I’ve always wanted to use a wall decal as a backdrop and it was a fun concept to try out.
The gorgeous crown pinata was by Party Pony Designer Pinata’s and we used it more as a decoration rather than a pinata – so that we could hang it in our daughter’s room after the party. It really was a stunning decoration so cleverly made by Nicola!
The tassel tail was also by Party Pony but sourced from Ruby Rabbit Partyware for a previous party – always great when you can reuse your party decorations!
The absolutely stunning cake was made by Minnie of Minnie’s Sweet Creations who I have used a few times as her cakes always taste as good as they look! The cake matched the watercolour look on the invitation and honestly tasted delicious!
The princess cake topper was by Glistening Occasions who created it beautifully with glitter on the tiara and number 4!
You can see the glitter detailing in this close up and it was beautifully made!:
Minnie from Minnie’s Sweet Creations also made these sweet princess cookies. They were the perfect size cookies for little ones and were snapped up in seconds!:
I made some oreo pops for the party which always go down well and dressed them up with some pink and gold glitter cake pop sticks from Glistening Occasion.
Jelly is a must have at my kids parties and I dressed the little jelly pots up with a glitter wooden spoon from Butterfly Kisses Celebrations:
Fruit is another item I always like to include on the dessert table and I used these pretty crown cupcake toppers in pink/gold cupcake cases all sourced from Ruby Rabbit Partyware:
The kids table is always fun to setup and my daughter gets excited about sitting there and eating with her friends. This year I decided to use stylish pink mini ghost chairs for something different! Mini Party People have these in a range of colours along with the kids tables for hire and they were wonderful to work with!
Besides the plates/cups I don’t like putting too much on the kids table because you need room for the food/platters!
However I popped the cute kids party glitter crowns from Ruby Rabbit Partyware on the table along with the gorgeous pink and gold chevron partyware from Illume Designs! I thought the pink and gold of their range worked so well together.
You can only just see them here….but I found these cute straws with pink crowns on them from Devour Cakes :
These glitter bottle/vases were actually from Naomi’s 1st birthday party – glad I was able to reuse them!:
I again used the pink/gold chevron range from Illume Designs for the favour bags and thank you tags, with cute mini gold pegs from Ruby Rabbit Partyware:
Inside the bags were various items depending on whether they were for girls or boys (eg: hair clips, cars, bangles, playdough etc) however one special item I included for the girls were some princess carriage soaps from Soap Buddies:
Now this day was a 40 degree day in Sydney so thank goodness we booked Cinderella to come along from Fairy Fun! I actually lengthened her booking on the day as the kids were having SO much fun and in the heat they couldn’t play outside anyway!
My daughter always gets so excited when an entertainer comes to a party as she is still young enough to believe that it REALLY is Cinderella! It also gives all the parents a chance to sit back and chat to each other while the kids have fun. We were so happy with Cinderella and would definitely recommend Fairy Fun for party entertainment in Sydney!
Rebekah honestly had such a fun time at her party and I’m so glad I had booked Nikki Fitt photography to take photos as she captured precious shots such as this….love this photo of me and Rebekah as you can see my baby bump as well!:
I should also mention that Rebekah’s party outfit is also sourced from vendors in the directory! Her gorgeous pink tutu with gold ribbon is from Sweet Pirouette. We gave it to her on her birthday and she was SO excited to wear it and do her little poses!
She is also wearing a pink and gold chain made by Little Miss Charlie’s Treasures:
We all had such fun celebrating with our family and friends ! I can’t believe it will be a 5th birthday I’ll be planning for her later this year!
Thanks for reading and make sure you visit the Directory page when you are party planning to find all the vendors I have used and many more!

Today I am sharing a real party by Isabelle for her 2yr old daughter! Isabelle runs Barbe a Papa so she could use her talent and skills to create the paperie items herself.
As Isabelle describes – “Princesses are such popular theme for little girls. So it wasn’t a surprise when our then 2 year old fell in love with Snow White. Her party theme was obvious!”
I love the use of the blue curtain backdrop for a fairytale feel. Gorgeous red tablecloth from Saffy and May!
These blue candy jars help to bring the colour scheme to life!:
How sweet are these snow white spoons from Bespoke Party Products?:
The Snow White clipart was carefully chosen to look like Isabelle’s daughter. I think it is super sweet!
Isabelle decided to work with the Snow White colours: red, blue and yellow and added a touch of glitter and gold to make everything a little more magical.
Apples were also a very important part of the design and were included in the whole concept.
The cake was a chocolate mud cake covered in chocolate ganache and the figurine was handcrafted to match the invitation. Renae from All that Cake did an amazing job.
Such a lovely kids party table setup carrying on the colour scheme:
The children were entertained by a face painter. There was also a bubble station set up, a game of pin the bow or apple on a Snow White and the children could decorate their own cupcakes.
Each child took home a heart filled with playdough, a chocolate bar, some bubbles, colouring pages and crayons, with a personalised muslin bag.
I just love these cute muslin bags from Barbe a Papa!:

Thank you Isabelle for sharing this amazing Snow White party for your daughter!
Last week we celebrated my youngest daughter Naomi’s 2nd birthday. I decided to keep it small because we are expecting our 3rd child in January 2015 – which we are thrilled about!
However I lost all party planning motivation during first trimester and with all the tiredness which comes with 1st trimester I really didn’t want to put pressure on myself in the party department!
So I kept the guest list quite small and kept things my version of simple without worrying at all about whether I would even share this party on the blog.
About a week before the party, motivation started to return and I got myself organised! I am finding parties require less effort to put together now that I know where to source everything from and I already have some standard party items and decor at home (eg: cake stands, mini jars etc) so it didn’t take much to put this party together.
All vendors used were from my children’s party directory of course.
Naomi love’s Peppa Pig so that was the theme for her party. I will share the different vendors/items I used at the party in case you want to source any of these items yourself.
Here is the Peppa Pig inspired dessert table for the party – I went bright with the colour scheme and that lovely tassel garland is by Divine Drops. It actually hangs much more nicely in person but the heater was on and blowing the tassels around:
I also loved the giant 2 balloon and petite tassel sourced from Ruby Rabbit Partyware (the tassel is created by Party Pony Designer Pinata’s and you can find similar here ).
I hired this mini picket fence from Tiny Tots Toy Hire to go with a Peppa Pig/garden feel.
I love this Peppa Pig inspired printable collection from Style Me Gorgeous and it is what I used for the printables and it also inspired the cake and cookies:
Here is the lovely cake that Minnie from Minnie’s Sweet Creations made for Naomi. It tasted AMAZING! It was inspired by the printables but I also requested Peppa and her friends on the cake as well:
Here it is on the table and again I found yet another use for the pink mini picket fences I purchased from Saffy and May a few parties ago – just to help decorate the riser and tie in with the front picket fence.
The cookies were created by Megan of Love Every Detail in Melbourne who shipped them to me. I left the design up to her and inspired by the printable she created a GORGEOUS selection of cookies that were also delicious! Both the cake and cookies were easily finished by the end of the day:
Here are some table shots:
Besides the cake and cookies I kept the dessert table simple with jelly (a standard favourite!) and fruit cups. These bright confetti dot spoons matched the colour scheme perfectly and I found them at Ruby Rabbit partyware here
I also thought I would try out these mini balloons from Ruby Rabbit partyware and use them as little toppers in the fruit cups for a bit of fun.
Here are more of the Style Me Gorgeous printable labels in use.
The kids party table and chairs I hired from Tiny Tots Toy Hire. Kept it quite simple and bright with just some Peppa Pig masks and plenty of room in the middle for all the kids food.
One of my favourite items had to be these cute Peppa Pig favour boxes by Pretty Little Vintage! They are just adorable! They had a personalised thank you message on the back but I also attached the printable thank you labels to the side:
I filled them with a few different items and I had to do a share of these cute little clips from one of my vendors Little Miss Charlie’s Treasures which I included in the girls favour boxes.
Besides the dessert table I didn’t decorate too much else for the party besides some helium balloons but I did use these really fun Peppa Pig pom poms created by Theme It Party Boxes. Dana can create any character and I ordered Rebecca Rabbit, Emily Elephant and Suzy Sheep. Then it was just a matter of fluffing the pom and assembling the pieces together.
Now pom fluffing is not one of my talents so I don’t think I quite did these pom’s justice however they were cute none the less!:
And lastly here are some pictures with the birthday girl who had a lot of fun! We hired a ball pit from Tiny Tots Toy Hire which she loved and now being 2 she was quite excited about cutting the cake and everyone singing happy birthday.
So there you have it…another party over and although I didn’t think I’d be able to pull it together thankfully the start of the 2nd trimester of pregnancy hit me with a bit of energy and I could enjoy the day as well.
Thanks for taking the time to have a read and share in a bit of this Peppa Pig inspired celebration.
