Confetti and sprinkles are typical images which come to mind when I think of a kid’s celebration – and it is a wonderful “theme” to base a party around. It is very simple to decorate for since you can combine lots of colours together rather than find specific theme based partyware.
You could go for a really bright look or a more pastel confetti look – anything goes!
I also think it is a great theme if you don’t want to have a really detailed theme but still want some type of decorating pattern to set the tone/decor for the party!
You could combine it with an icecream based theme or use it for a baby sprinkle event (a baby shower for a 2nd, 3rd etc baby).
Hope you enjoy the collection I’ve put together:

I thought it was time to do a boys theme and one theme which I really love is that of a vintage tricycle inspired by the printables from Style Me Gorgeous. So I’ve decided to do this post on a tricycle or bicycle theme – a great theme if you want to do a classic traditional theme for a boy =)
You could combine this theme with another item as well. For example on the Style Me Gorgeous printables they are combined with a kite. Other printables combine a tricycle with other vintage toys. I also saw a vintage tricycle and ice cream party. So really anything could work and the vintage feel could tie it together.
I’ve based most of my selections on blues and brown/cream tones and vintage items however I know all of you fab blog readers of mine could make any colour work well =)
Invitations/Printables

As we enter the warmer months and garden parties are being planned I thought I’d do a post on a Bee theme which is lovely for the outdoors.
This is cute for boys or girls, baby showers or even for mixed gender twins birthdays! The most common colour scheme seen is yellow/black/white but you could incorporates blues or pinks, or perhaps add some green for a garden feel.
You can combine this theme with a general garden theme, butterfly theme or ladybug theme.

Hope you enjoyed this Bee party collection round up and it helped you with your party planning or helped you find some new suppliers for other themes you might be planning for!
Books are such an important part of childhood and I am loving seeing the parties which are being based around a much loved children’s book – such as the Very Hungry Caterpillar which is a book my daughter is just starting to enjoy at the moment!
This party theme can involve bright and bold decorations and also gives you the chance to serve some delicious fruit as an option for your dessert table to match the fruits in the book.
Given that there are so many party themes relating to TV characters, I think that any party theme related to reading/books is a winner in my eyes!
