I am excited to share this gorgeous modern take on the popular mermaid party theme as featured in Issue 25 of CELEBRATE Magazine!
A mermaid party theme is always a fantastic choice for a girls birthday party and has so many pretty colour options and I love the gorgeous colours chosen for this one!
With beautiful balloons and props including a mermaid shell party backdrop and mermaid tail – the mermaid party theme was set with gorgeous touches of florals and balloons and a mermaid theme cake all to bring the theme to life in a gorgeous way. All the mermaid party favourd were displayed beautifully on a “fintastic treats” shelf as well as on the kids party table also
The whole room was setup and styled for a fun, colourful and bright mermaid party celebration!
It isn’t a mermaid party without a mermaid themed cake and I love the gorgeous details on this Mermaid birthday party cake!
All the desserts and favours were also themed for a mermaid party such as these mermaid themed cakesicles
The table setting was brought to life with gorgeous shell placecards and themed paperie!
No detail was missed with mermaid party themed touches through every childs table setting!
All the party favours had gorgeous shell and mermaid touches such as these gorgeous candy boxes with shell acrylic tags:
The kids loved the fairy floss and all the treats all personalised with mermaid themed party labels
For the entertainment the kids enjoyed a fabulous jumping castle as well as lots of creative activities from painting, colouring a custom tablecloth, mermaid themed tattoos and more!
These are great options for a 5 year old age group as they can have lots of fun on the castle but also be calm and creative from sit down activites which they are old enough to manage

How stunning is this modern and elegant mermaid party theme table setup?
Love the vibrant colours used for the mermaid themed birthday cake:
Starting with that balloon backdrop which blew me away!! The backdrop totally set the stage for this under the sea party with the balloon wall and floating balloons which looked like bubbles! Mixed in are the fun under the sea foil balloons and the “4” balloon mosaic…and all combined together creates a truly incredible under the sea party setup!!
The cake was just a stunning under the sea inspired cake with gorgeous details of shells and coral by Dous Dolce in Sydney! Topped with a fun topper supplied by Favor Lane party – this is truly a cake to inspire other Under the sea themed cakes to come!
Juicy strawberries by Dom’s Strawberries Delight added to the delicious desserts for this shoot!
The kids table setting was setup with net draping centerpiece, custom party bags and party hats by Eve and Co Stationery and all styled with tableware from Favor Lane:
For entertainment you can’t get more perfect than a Bubble Entertainer for an under the sea themed party! Bubbleheads in Sydney did not disappoint with her amazing bubble show and bubble entertainment to create an amazing array for bubbles to entertain the kids!
