Paw Patrol is hugely popular at the moment and many a child is choosing this for their birthday party theme.

My kids love paw patrol and it is a party theme which can suit both boys and girls with many girls having a “Skye” or “Everest” paw patrol party. Your child may choose to have all the characters featured in their invitation and decorations or just their favourite pup – meaning that anything goes for the colour scheme!

I don’t even know how or when my 3 year old daughter started getting into the Shopkins craze – but these cute little figurines have started to build up in our home (and sometimes into the mouth of my 1 year old…eek!). Hands up mums if its the same at your place?

Well if your child has started asking for a Shopkins birthday party (and it is one of the themes my daughter is requesting) , this round up of party supplies is all you will need to get you started!

Tropical Toucan Inspired Birthday Party Shoot

I can’t wait for you to see the 4th photoshoot in the Confetti Fair magazine feature series of bird inspired shoots where Life’s Little Celebration partners (who you can find on the Directory pages) collaborated to create an inspiring party setting ! I hope you’ve loved seeing the amazing party shoots which have emerged from the inspiration of a flamingo, swan and magpie and today the bright and tropical Toucan inspired 10th birthday party shoot!

Inspired by the colours of the toucan and the tropical habitat it occupies this party was about being fun and colourful but also a little bit grown up for a 10th birthday. This summer party is full of vibrant deep rich colours and splashes of tropical fruits. Lush and sophisticated this is a party that could easily be held poolside to capture that resort-style vibe.

I love the handpainted party decor, the fun and fruity partyware and amazing tropical inspired desserts!

Elizabeth from ELK prints styled and coordinated this shoot (and created the gorgeous invitation & handpainted leaf decor) and brought the colourful Toucan bird to life. Boy’s 1st birthday party themes

A first birthday party is always so special to plan! Your little boy generally doesn’t have strong specific likes/dislikes and of course has NO preference when it comes to a party theme which means you have free reign to choose any party theme you feel will suit your child. I’m brainstorming ideas for my own son’s 1st birthday next year and am currently thinking of an ice-cream theme or perhaps a vintage tricycle theme.
