The perfect entertainment for any Lego party is of course – playing with Lego! However of course you may not have enough for all the kids and the idea of pieces of lego being scattered all over your house is enough to give a mum nightmares for weeks!
Lil Kidz Constructions (based in Sydney but you can find similar in other states) is a great solution – they can either come to your house or you can hire all the equipment from them – and the kids will have loads of fun without you having to worry about all the bits and pieces (literally!):

Thanks to Louise from Illume Designs who is guest posting today with ideas and supplies for a Lego party!
Lego party themes are so popular at the moment, and I have put together some images and suggested products that I used to style my son Alek’s 4th Birthday Lego Party.
Alek decided on a Lego theme so I thought it would be great to incorporate chevron yellow into the styling. I used Illume Design’s chevron yellow party ware and incorporated the chevron design into the invite, thank you tags, chocolate bars and buffet sign.
The cake was a chocolate mud cake, made into the shape of a number 4. I added the actual Lego buggy’s and Lego men. I also had lego cookies made into the shape of lego heads. The cupcakes were made by myself and I added fondant Lego block to each cupcake
Here is a selection of Yellow partyware to match with a Lego party theme all available from Illume Designs
Source list:
1. Chevron Yellow Large Plates 2. Chevron Yellow Dessert Plate 3. Chevron Yellow Cupcake Wrapper 4. Chevron Yellow Napkin 5. Chevron Yellow Bunting 6. Chevron Yellow Treat Bag 7. Chevron Yellow Cup 8. Chevron Yellow Tag – all available from: Illume Designs
The Lego invitations, Lego thank you tags, personalised chocolate bars and Lego sign, designed by myself.

Most of us grew up playing with LEGO and it’s wonderful to see that it is just as loved by our little one’s too! It is a popular party theme and a fun one to put together.
You can easily use your child’s own lego collection to put together decorations and centrepieces for this party theme as well as fun activity stations for all the kids to play lego during the party. View my PINTEREST board for lots of party ideas for a lego party.
