Fire inspired – Engagement Dessert Table

Today I am delighted to finally share with you the 2nd shoot which was a collaboration of Life’s Little Celebration partners for Confetti Fair magazine!

Life’s Little Celebration partners collaborated on 4 shoots inspired by air, water, earth and fire and this engagement dessert table shoot was inspired by “fire” with a modern and playful feel!

Lopa from The Pumpkin Carriage coordinated and styled this gorgeous suit, collaborating with a range of LLC partners whose details are below.! Photos were captured beautifully by Captured by Kirri.

The colour scheme was inspired by the colours of a blazing flame including lots of red, orange and yellow set against a clean white background to highlight the fiery colours.

The theme was brought to life with lots of red hearts and elements of fire on the table including heart shaped macarons and cookies, mini dessert cups with hearts on them whilst the cake and cupcakes represented fire!

The jumbo red balloons stand out as a fun element to this dessert table and I love the tassels created for them!:

I love the concept and 3D effect of this heart backdrop which also tied in with the invitation:

Fire Engine Theme

A classic boy theme which so many little men seem to love at some stage of their childhood! It’s cute & boyish at the same time with lots of red, yellow and black & can also feature orange and blue. Tin & metal elements could also work into this theme and you could choose to go modern or vintage.

Key images you could work into your decor are fire engines, fire hydrants, fire helmets, whistles, torches, ladders, firefighters, fire alarm bell, hoses, dalmatians, sirens…just to get you started!

I hope these ideas will either contribute to your party planning or inspire you with some ideas!

Starting off with some modern and vintage printables, they really show off how different colour combination’s could work for this party:
