I was very excited and grateful that my daughter’s Baptism celebration was been featured on the Party Inspirations blog!
My daughter Naomi Grace had her Baptism celebration one week after my elder daughters birthday party – so in order to avoid too much stress I kept it very simple and small!
Everything was based around a floral garden look/feel.
Sharon from Cakes by Sharon created the gorgeous ruffle Christening cake. I had seen this ruffle cake design by Sharon and loved it and knew I wanted it for my daughter’s Christening.
To match the floral feel, Dunne with Style made an absolutely gorgeous fabric flower garland as well as toppers which I used atop the little jars of white chocolate mousse. To say these were gorgeous is an understatement! The mousse was served with some floral spoons – image and more details further down this post.
Another favourite item of mine were the pink picket fences I used around the platters which I sourced from Saffy & May and were perfect for the floral/garden feel.
I used floral printed pop sticks from Polkadot Prints for the oreo pops I made.
I had a little drink area set up and reused the pink ruffle garland I used at Rebekah’s birthday party from Emerald and Ella. The drink dispenser is from Leo & Bella and I just added a doily decoration onto it to dress it up a little.
I set up a little area where I had the party favours – chocolate bars & wrappers for the adults from Bespoke Party Products and goodies for the kids in beautiful floral favour bags from Sweet Celebrations. The floral garden mat I placed my daughter’s picture frame on is also from Sweet Celebrations.
I used the gorgeous pom poms from Rebekah’s party again here too. They were made by Pom Pom Princess.
Here is a close up of the chocolate bars and wooden spoons from Bespoke Party Products. I thought they were just divine! I loved that I could purchase the chocolate bars with wrappers all together because with Rebekah’s party the week before I simply didn’t have time to cut printables and prepare these myself!
A close up of the name print & name blocks, Baptism Candle and a special gold cross gift she received.
The name print & blocks were from Retro Ragamuffins and I LOVE them! They are now in her room which she will eventually move into once she outgrows her bassinet. On the name print I had “Naomi” as well as the meaning of her name underneath: delightful, pleasant, beautiful!
And here is my little darling….my favourite picture of the entire day =)
Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes…
