Ava’s Zoom Party feature

Today we are sharing another fantastic zoom party feature to inspire you all having to plan your child’s birthday during covid-19! There are lots of fun and creative ways to still give your child a fun virtual birthday party celebration in isolation and help them connect virtually with their friends! Ellana from SweetP Cakes and Cookies created this fun party for her daughter’s 12th birthday!

Ellana explained how they got Ava’s friends involved in the celebration and we love this idea:

“We dropped off (knock and drop, ISO safe) individual zoom party boxes to all the party guests instructing them to not open their boxes til the zoom party.  This built excitement around the party and created a lot of joy for the birthday girl Ava in preparing the boxes for her friends. ”

“The boxes contained: Sweets, Handmade SweetP Cookie, Party Plate and Cup from The Pop Up Party Co.  Mini DIY Balloon Garland (100% biodegradable balloons) to match the Birthday Girl’s large garland, drink and invitation.  Zoom codes were sent to parents prior to the party.

The girls opened their gift boxes during the party and made their balloons and shared their party food with Ava whilst signing happy Birthday. ”

We love the setup Ellana created for her daughter to make the zoom party setting still special and make her feel like she really was in a party setting!:

The gorgeous birthday cake made by SweetP Cakes and Cookies was later shared with Ava’s immediate family. A zoom party doesn’t mean you can’t have cake!!

This definitely was such a gorgeous example about how a zoom party can still be truly special and still give your child the “party” feel along with including their friends both virtually but also by dropping off items to enjoy during the session!

We hope this inspires you if you have a child’s birthday to celebrate in isolation – that planning a zoom or virtual birthday party can still be lots of fun! Many of our members are offering party packs to suit a zoom party and mini cakes and contactless balloon delivery to help celebrate during isolation!
