I don’t even know how or when my 3 year old daughter started getting into the Shopkins craze – but these cute little figurines have started to build up in our home (and sometimes into the mouth of my 1 year old…eek!). Hands up mums if its the same at your place?

Well if your child has started asking for a Shopkins birthday party (and it is one of the themes my daughter is requesting) , this round up of party supplies is all you will need to get you started!

For this blog post I’ve mixed in Shopkins party specific items with pink party items which you can work in with this theme. However given that Shopkins is such a colourful series, really any colour scheme would work!

Magic Party

I’ve seen some fantastic Magic themed parties lately which has inspired this blog post theme! This is definitely a fun theme if your child loves magic, games and tricks.

I’ve based the colours in this blog post around black, red and blue. However silver or gold would also work in well for this party theme.

Incorporate items such as top hats, dice, rabbits, stars, wands and playing cards into your decorations/props/theming.

Every now and then I enjoy doing a round up of some of the kid’s party items which I have spotted online which have caught my eye! Click on the image to be taken directly to where you can find the item online.

Always helpful to note which stores to find different coloured lollies etc and I spotted a sweet new confectionery range available from The Party Parlour:

 

 

 

Love these melamine platters to create a clean look on a dessert table! They come in white and black in a few different sizes. I couldn’t find these in my local stores so it was fantastic to find them online from Occasion by Design!:

Fairy Theme

A Fairy theme is such a popular theme for girl’s  and although I had done a previous blog post on this theme I decided to re-work it to keep it up to date!

For this theme you could incorporate woodland/garden features or keep it pastel and pretty. You could incorporate glitter, tulle, ribbons or any other whimsical decorations! If going for a woodland feel there are lots of props you could use such as mushroom decorations, wooden cutlery, grass table mats etc.
