A few years ago when I first started planning my own kids parties….the range of partyware was limited to polka dots, stripes and chevrons. Now the kids party scene is bursting with fun partyware and “Party! she said” newly renovated online store has a huge range of Licensed Character parties, Themed parties and Party bundles which allow customers to pick and choose and stay right on trend with designer partyware !
They have so much to offer and if you can’t see it, just ask and they will be happy to try to source it for you.
“Party! she said” is now an online mother and daughters venture who used to be called Fantasy Kids Parties. Starting way back in 1985 it started as a catering and party styling service when the daughters were very young and it was a relatively new idea and because they loved to party, that’s all they knew and we love all the ranges they are now stocking:
Trending is their new stock from Daydream Society in the USA and Glitz & Glam a very versatile range just coming through their store now – suited to adult celebrations, baby showers and Christenings.
Their bundles are varied and they can also bundle up a pack of partyware that is just right for you.
Party! she said is a small business and small business is such a lovely way to feel like family, which is what they try to make their customers feel. Old fashioned customer service, but mixed with an online presence! Based in Adelaide they offer shipping Australia wide. Party! She Said is on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest.
They also have a range of fun and stylish decorations and backdrops:
As well as licensed partyware and a range of party supplies to suit popular kids themes such as a ballerina party:
They have also recently launched a new venture “Lollygraze” in Adelaide metro which you can book via their website as well as “Abelia Flower Crown” workshops with information also on their website with the aim to offer flower crowns to purchase and also in DIY kits in the future!
As you can see – their range is bright and stylish and they have so much happening! They are definitely a store you want to involve when you’re party planning for your next kids party or celebration! So head to their website now to start your planning!
Easter dessert table – Sweet Style
Easter is a wonderful time of celebration! Children love this time of year – ask a child about Easter, and 9 times out of 10 they will share an excited story involving the Easter Bunny, fun activities that always lead to chocolate, lots of food and eggs (chocolate of course!). For many of us Easter does hold a deeper meaning – and it is always a cause of getting family together and having fun with the kids!
So whether you have a birthday coinciding with Easter, getting friends and family together for Easter Sunday lunch, or simply preparing class or teacher gifts before the end of term, take advice from the kids and have some fun with bunny themed products in sweet pastels, and just add chocolate!

Want to create your own pastel party prettiness? I’ve curated some gorgeous finds from party boutique The Little Event Company which was launched recently by Melbourne based mum Marie. This online party store is all about style and you will find beautiful partyware, tableware and decorations to browse and today I’m sharing their lovely pastel partyware:
Pastel pinwheels – The Little Event Company
Marie’s background was in the event industry for over 12 years as she explains: “I worked as a “Wedding Planner” , managing celebrity weddings and working with high-end clientele. The most expensive wedding being close to $800K…that was a crazy experience. I have never needed to order full sized, customised Bride and Groom mirrored thrones before. For a few years I dabbled into freelance work as well. Like most mumpreneurs my career goals/bucket list goals came into fruition whilst I was a full-time stay at home mum. I had reached a cross-road as my maternity leave was coming to an end. I either had to go back to work and leave my “babies” or stay at home and do what I love most – being a mum. But I also needed “me time”. Some people choose to read a book or go for a walk, I chose to start a business in an industry I absolutely love!”
I know I (and many others) can certainly relate and I’m so glad Marie did make the decision to open her party boutique and bring together gorgeous partyware such as this selection:
Pastel confetti balloon kit – The Little Event Company
Large pastel plates – The Little Event Company
Pastel pom poms – The Little Event Company
Pastel confetti – The Little Event Company
Pastel pink straws – The Little Event Company
Pink and gold tassel party horn – The Little Event Company
Pink and gold candles – The Little Event Company
Combine the above pastel pretties for a gorgeous and coordinated party look!
When you browse The Little Event Company’s website it is hard to believe it was only launched in July 2016!
Marie explains: “Prior to the launch, I had set out some KPIs for the business – I love a challenge. I am not sure if this is the norm but I was pretty chuffed when I reached my 100th sale within months of opening, and I started to have repeat customers – which was fantastic for my ego. With the highs also came a couple of confronting lows where I needed to remind myself why I started this venture to begin with. To be honest, I am not sure where this new adventure will take me and I am happy to keep it that way. Sometimes keeping it small is not always a bad thing. Seeing my girls’ faces when a shipment arrives filled with party goods is worth gold. Overall, The Little Event Company would not be in existence if it wasn’t for the belief and support of my magical family and totally selfless parents.”
I am sure many of you reading this who are also running your own small business have felt the same!
If you’re planning your kids party and are ready to shop for your party supplies, ensure you browse The Little Event Company and their selection of the pastel partyware above along with their own kids theme ranges! You’re sure to find something stylish for your next children’s event.
Do you remember going to gymnastic classes as a child? So much fun!
Tumbling, jumping and climbing make it a popular choice of extra curricular activity for lower primary school aged children, and the perfect party option for this age group too.
For the full experience (and safety of your household items) many gymnastics venues offer party packages on the weekend, making it a great option for catering to larger numbers too. You’ll find many provide a room or separate area (and sometimes tables and chairs) for you to set up and bring your own catering, and they’ll take care of the rest. Too easy!
Here is some inspiration to get you started!:

Decorations
If hosting it at a venue, you may be limited to the decorations you can bring in and the allocated time to set up, so stick to some fun balloons and coordinated tableware for a quick and easy set up and clean up. Or if at home, go all out and let your imagination run wild! Choose bright primary colours, pink and gold or even metallics just like a gymnast’s leotard!
A styled table with customised cookies, wrapped chocolates or cupcakes with toppers is also an easy way to achieve your look.

Favours
When all the gymnasts have tumbled themselves tired and it’s time to go home, what better way to say ‘thanks’ and reward them for their outstanding ability, than to award them all them with their own gold medals or trophies! Kids go wild for these and they’re easy enough to find and be added to a goodie bag with a customised cookie, treats or other personalised gifts.

Dancing ribbons – Party Ideas in a box

We’ve all seen those stunning party setups in glossy magazines or top entertaining blogs.
They’re stylish, perfectly constructed and seemingly out of reach when setting up our own table or lolly buffet. Today we’re chatting to the talented team behind online party boutique The Kit Source who share five top tips to get that editorial look for your next party.
Choose bright, contrasting colours
Coming into summer, bright pinks, greens, golds and blues are the most effective and eye-catching way to create a striking spread.
Don’t be afraid to choose bold and mismatching patterns or shapes, just make sure the colours are of a similar tone – e.g. jewel tones, fluoro tones, or even all pastel tones – but the brighter the better.
The Kit Source’s Fluoro Floral Party Kit (below) is a perfect example of a stylish summer party)
Be messy, but on purpose
If you’re not the most precise person, or simply don’t have the time to measure the gap between each plate and tasty treat, don’t stress.
Being purposefully messy with some of your pieces will deliver that perfectly ‘thrown together’ look without too much effort. We’re not saying to chuck piles of plates on a table and be done with it, think about how you can arrange some items perfectly, and then balance it out with some purposeful mess!
Always get extra supplies
Think you’ll need ten balloons to line the back of the lolly buffet? Get twenty.
It’s no secret that abundance will create a more luxurious look, even if it’s just so you have a few extra balloons for background photos, or to attach to the letterbox, having more is better than not enough.
Flowers are your friend
As you can see from these gorgeous shots, flowers are pretty much the only accompaniment required for this party setting! A few vases of bright flowers, even if they’re purchased from the supermarket, will lift your theme to the next level.
Enlist some help
If you have a friend that’s great at baking or balloon-blowing, ask for help.
The more hands you have on deck on the day to set up, the more likely you are to check everything off your styling to-do list.
The most important person to get in this category though, especially if you want mag-worthy shots, is a photographer.
If you’re not that confident in taking your own pics, get a professional. There are a range of photographers available on the LLC directory and they’ll ensure they get gorgeous shots of every one of your party elements. And if you need a styled party setting in a few clicks, make sure you check out the themed Party Kits available from The Kit Source.
