A fruity theme is always popular in Summer…and there has been many a bright tutti frutti party showcased online – so for this summery setup for the 3rd issue of Celebrating Little One’s e-magazine , stylists Mooi. Co decided on more of a pastel colour scheme with fruits of lemons, and limes and other summery fruits.
The result is a delightful setup with a relaxed table for the kids, lemonade stand and dessert table filled with desserts inspired by summery fruits! I love the mix of colours of yellows, peach, mint green and pinks for a fruity kids party theme!
This was a collaboration of Life’s Little Celebration members and you can find the talented vendor list at the end of this blog post!

Easter dessert table – Sweet Style
Easter is a wonderful time of celebration! Children love this time of year – ask a child about Easter, and 9 times out of 10 they will share an excited story involving the Easter Bunny, fun activities that always lead to chocolate, lots of food and eggs (chocolate of course!). For many of us Easter does hold a deeper meaning – and it is always a cause of getting family together and having fun with the kids!
So whether you have a birthday coinciding with Easter, getting friends and family together for Easter Sunday lunch, or simply preparing class or teacher gifts before the end of term, take advice from the kids and have some fun with bunny themed products in sweet pastels, and just add chocolate!

Want to create your own pastel party prettiness? I’ve curated some gorgeous finds from party boutique The Little Event Company which was launched recently by Melbourne based mum Marie. This online party store is all about style and you will find beautiful partyware, tableware and decorations to browse and today I’m sharing their lovely pastel partyware:
Pastel pinwheels – The Little Event Company
Marie’s background was in the event industry for over 12 years as she explains: “I worked as a “Wedding Planner” , managing celebrity weddings and working with high-end clientele. The most expensive wedding being close to $800K…that was a crazy experience. I have never needed to order full sized, customised Bride and Groom mirrored thrones before. For a few years I dabbled into freelance work as well. Like most mumpreneurs my career goals/bucket list goals came into fruition whilst I was a full-time stay at home mum. I had reached a cross-road as my maternity leave was coming to an end. I either had to go back to work and leave my “babies” or stay at home and do what I love most – being a mum. But I also needed “me time”. Some people choose to read a book or go for a walk, I chose to start a business in an industry I absolutely love!”
I know I (and many others) can certainly relate and I’m so glad Marie did make the decision to open her party boutique and bring together gorgeous partyware such as this selection:
Pastel confetti balloon kit – The Little Event Company
Large pastel plates – The Little Event Company
Pastel pom poms – The Little Event Company
Pastel confetti – The Little Event Company
Pastel pink straws – The Little Event Company
Pink and gold tassel party horn – The Little Event Company
Pink and gold candles – The Little Event Company
Combine the above pastel pretties for a gorgeous and coordinated party look!
When you browse The Little Event Company’s website it is hard to believe it was only launched in July 2016!
Marie explains: “Prior to the launch, I had set out some KPIs for the business – I love a challenge. I am not sure if this is the norm but I was pretty chuffed when I reached my 100th sale within months of opening, and I started to have repeat customers – which was fantastic for my ego. With the highs also came a couple of confronting lows where I needed to remind myself why I started this venture to begin with. To be honest, I am not sure where this new adventure will take me and I am happy to keep it that way. Sometimes keeping it small is not always a bad thing. Seeing my girls’ faces when a shipment arrives filled with party goods is worth gold. Overall, The Little Event Company would not be in existence if it wasn’t for the belief and support of my magical family and totally selfless parents.”
I am sure many of you reading this who are also running your own small business have felt the same!
If you’re planning your kids party and are ready to shop for your party supplies, ensure you browse The Little Event Company and their selection of the pastel partyware above along with their own kids theme ranges! You’re sure to find something stylish for your next children’s event.
What could be sweeter than fairy floss? How about 2 kids enjoying a whole cotton candy milk bar?
That was the inspiration and setting of this amazing Life’s Little Celebrations collaboration shoot – bringing together many partners from the Directory for a special shoot for the latest issue of Sweet Magazine
The vision was created and brought to life by the talented ladies of Sugar Monk in Sydney who not only brought their styling expertise but also their handmade touches through the signage and tassels
I’m thrilled to share this party which made the front cover of Sweet Magazine!
The dessert table was full of colourful desserts – some of which incorporated fairy floss in many cute and unique ways! All fairy floss was supplied by Fluffy Crunch who spun fairyfloss during the shoot and also provided their wonderful fairy floss party favour tubs!:
The whole setup brought back a retro milk bar feel:
I hope you enjoy all the amazing details of this shoot and it inspires you for your next celebration!
At the end of this post you can find all the credits so you can source any similar items or desserts for yourself:

I’m excited to share with you the first of 4 shoots put together as a Life’s Little Celebrations collaboration for the latest Confetti Fair Magazine! The shoots were inspired by air, fire, water and earth – and this baby shower was inspired by “air”
It was styled by the talented Meghan of Peppermint Sunday in Melbourne who coordinated many talented Life’s Little Celebration partners to contribute to this gorgeous setting. See all vendor credits at the end of this blog post:
Meghan’s vision for the Baby Shower to relate to an “Air” theme was to include Clouds, Balloons & Kites. To tie in the baby shower element, she brought in the “About to Pop”
Using various Life’s Little Celebration partners she created a baby shower which was pastel, fun and a bit quirky, with a pop of colour at the same time!
This baby shower cake was so pretty and unique – the colours really work so beautifully and the cake topper is so fun! “About to pop” really is a wonderful idea for a baby shower party theme!:
I just love this unique baby shower invitation with the balloon popping out of the invitation box when opened!:
I just love the mix of kite and cloud cookies in this baby shower backdrop!:
