How do you make a party fun, exciting and stunning? Base it around your child’s favourite animal!
Mary from Sweet Heavenly Events Party Hire and Event Styling has made a little boy very happy with his puppy themed 5th birthday featured in Issue 6 of our magazine which you can view here.
This theme pulls away from the common themes and is an out of the box theme – that has paid off paw-fectly.
The overall look and theme of the party is all based around the wonderful colour’s our four legged friends come. With paw print balloons, platters of food ready to snack on and doggy bags ready to go.
The table decoration and styling is spot on. With meals and snacks being served in dog bowls and bone shaped trays to keep in with the theme.
How cute are the puppy themed cookies and cupcakes? All made especially for the event and to put smiles on the attendees faces.
The personalised puppy cake is simple, modern and fun. It was definitely a show stopper and had everyone talking.
With snack cards, party hats, decorations and doggie bags all personalised for Eli’s special day.
Not only did the attendees have snacks and games to play. They were also surprised with face painting to help them fit in with the theme. How happy and excited do all the children look? Face painting was definitely a hit with them all.
The individual detail that went into each and every aspect of this party was carefully put together by a lovely group of vendors – all part of our membership The Celebrate Society!

Puppy party invitations
A puppy party theme can be as subtle or over the top as you can like. Using characteristics we can all associate with puppies like bones or paw prints in your invitations is a great way to set the scene, leaving the puppies as the focus for the main event.

Puppy party decorations
A Puppy party theme suits either a neutral colour scheme similar to your pup of choice, or one with pops of colour. We love the idea of an adopt a puppy station with collar making and certificates, so use this as your focus and make it fun.
