A unicorn theme is a popular kids birthday party theme at the moment so I am delighted to share this gorgeous Unicorn party by Nicola of Party Pony Designer Pinata’s for her daughter
She collaborated with some talented vendors including some from the Life’s Little Celebrations directory to put together this colourful and bright Unicorn dessert table! The details and colours work together to bring this magical Unicorn birthday party theme alive!

A Teddy Bear’s Picnic theme is so sweet for a first or second birthday party and today I’m sharing an adorable setup using LLC partners (who you can find on the Directory pages):
I love classic party themes such as this for kids birthday parties as they really reflect the innocence of childhood !:
The rustic touches such as the mini apple tubs and vintage suitcase and the gingham pattern really bring the picnic theme to life!:
How sweet is this Teddy Bear cake? I just love the hand painted details!:
Such cute Teddy Bear cake pops and cookies!:
Hope you found some gorgeous party inspiration for your little ones birthday party!
A few weeks ago we celebrated my daughter’s 3rd birthday with a Snow White party. Naomi has always liked Snow White out of all the Princesses and so she chose this party theme and it was definitely fun to plan for!
I decided to put more of an apple/fruity twist on the party since Naomi loves apples and I thought it would be a bit different.
At first I was going to keep things quite low key and not even have a dessert table as I had told myself I would keep my girl’s parties small this year to balance out my son’s first birthday coming up. However as the birthday got closer I couldn’t help myself to put something together. I kept things clean and simple as I always do with the dessert table for an easy setup (important when you have 3 kids under 5 to also manage on the morning of a party!).
I’ve included the credits throughout this post. All photos taken were by me. All businesses mentioned are listed in the Life’s Little Celebration’s directory and I love to support the vendors from the Directory at my own children’s parties!
Glitter & Glue Designs created the cute Snow White invitations for me – they were designed, printed and posted to me. Isabelle was great to work with to come up with such a cute invite:
Here is the dessert table setup with gorgeous white table, red cake stands, white compotes and candy jar from Sweet Heavenly Events Hire (absolutely love their range and service!). The very cute apple honeycombs I used for the backdrop were from Ruby Rabbit partyware:
This cute apple garland was handmade by Merc + Jones (she creates the most wonderful party decor!) and the jumbo blue “3” balloon was from Party Splendour (who has a fantastic range of balloons!) . I also had a jumbo red “3” balloon near the entrance which I used as another photo prop and they are fantastic for this purpose.
The red apple props and mirror prop from Tiny Tots Toy Hire fitted the theme so well and made for some unique party pics as well! Before the party my girls enjoyed asking the mirror ‘who was the fairest of them all?’
Another pic of those cute apple honeycomb balls from Ruby Rabbit Partyware – I love them!:
The cake was made by the talented Marlena of Miss Confetti who was really wonderful to work with! Here is a close up of the figurine – so very detailed and made to match the Snow white on the invitations!
The cake was delicious and Naomi loved it!:
We also had Snow White cake pops by Sugar Pop Bakery with a printable top. So very cute and delicious! Cake pop perfection!:
Rather than toffee apples I decided to go with toffee apple look cake pops – made again by the wonderful Nicole of Sugar Pop Bakery.
The cute apple cake pop sticks were made by Glistening Occasions. Love how these turned out!:
Cookies always get snapped up super fast at my kids parties. Children love them so I always have them on a dessert table. I went with a cute mix of apples and bows and they were made perfectly by Miss Biscuit (Melbourne) who creates such gorgeous cookies:
I also ordered Apple Crumble Krispy Kreme donuts. I had more but only placed a few on the actual dessert table.
I personally love apple pie so I LOVED these donuts…amazing and fitted with the apple theme. I also had some fruit cups you can see in this pic. The red/blue cupcake cases suited the Snow White colour scheme and were from Little Kite:
A little addition to the table were these Toffee Apple M & M’s again to go with the apple theme – presented in lovely white compotes from Sweet Heavenly Events Hire:
Renee from DIY Parties by Renee created the buffet cards – I have used Renee before and her quality is really fantastic. The colours were vibrant and the cardstock was great quality too.
I setup a little photo area with some Snow white photo props. This was just an additional area for a bit of fun and we got some good snaps here. The screen backdrop was from Tiny Tots Toy Hire and was perfect for a photo area. That cute apple balloon was from Ruby Rabbit Partyware:
The kids were thoroughly entertained by ‘Snow White’ from Fairy Fun. Phillipa honestly had so much energy and kept the kids captivated with not a moment to spare. Naomi loved all the games and dancing including “pass the red apple” ! This is the second time I’ve used ‘Fairy Fun‘ and I really recommend them and will be using them again soon!
I set out all the favour bags here so they were easy to find and give out at the end of the party. That cute apple prop is from Tiny Tots Toy Hire and favour bags were from Little Kite – they were the perfect shade of royal blue and fantastic quality:
The sweet favour bag stickers were made by DIY Parties by Renee who prints and posts them which made it much quicker and easier leading up to the party:
In the favour bag I went for a a few cute items. The older girls each got an apple hair tie (I thought these were so sweet and matched the theme perfectly!!), an apple notepad (from The Little Big Company), princess pencil, a little pony (not theme related at all I know but what girl doesn’t love a little pony?), lollipop and chocolate bar.
For the younger baby girls I included a handmade red bow clip made by Little Miss Charlie’s Treasures:
Naomi was also wearing her own red bow made by Little Miss Charlie’s Treasures…well that was until she decided that Snow White had to wear a tiara instead! So this is one of the few pics I have of her with her red bow shot in baby Joshua’s room where she snuck off to before the party. The yellow tutu was from Rock Your Baby and blue top from Designer Kidz:
A quick snap of the birthday girl and I
Naomi had the best time at her party and kept saying thank you to me for her Snow White party and telling me it was the best party ever.
As a mum – that is the most fulfilling thing to hear from your child on the day of their birthday party. It was just such a joy to see her SO excited about her birthday and having fun with all our family and friends. She is already talking about her next birthday and what type of party she is going to have….this girl is going to keep me busy party planning – and secretly I don’t mind at all! 😉
Today I’m sharing a fun Unicorn party for 3 yr olds, using many Life’s Little Celebration’s directory vendors – based around the book ‘Thelma the Unicorn’ by Aaron Blabey.
This is a really sweet and simple setup making it perfectly do-able for mum’s wanting to throw something together for their unicorn loving child! The pink sequin tablecloth looks amazing but you could make a similar setup work with a white tablecloth for another option.
Those pretty white tassels are from Love the Occasion and could work into so many party themes!
A lot of the creations on this table were handmade by vendors in the Life’s Little Celebration’s party directory – meaning that they can custom create similar items to suit your child’s particular party theme.
The cupcakes were dressed up in these pretty glitter Unicorn toppers by Sugarlicious Parties:
Gorgeous custom cutlery was created by Bespoke Party Products:
I love these muslin favour bags by Glitter and Glue design with a glittery unicorn print! :
You really can’t get any prettier than glittery tulle poms – from Pom Pom Princess:
The cluster of tulle poms looks so pretty together and teamed with the cute unicorn head from K-Mart make an easy backdrop:
This is such a cute theme and really popular at the moment and I hope this setup has inspired you!
