Today I am delighted to finally share with you the 2nd shoot which was a collaboration of Life’s Little Celebration partners for Confetti Fair magazine!
Life’s Little Celebration partners collaborated on 4 shoots inspired by air, water, earth and fire and this engagement dessert table shoot was inspired by “fire” with a modern and playful feel!
Lopa from The Pumpkin Carriage coordinated and styled this gorgeous suit, collaborating with a range of LLC partners whose details are below.! Photos were captured beautifully by Captured by Kirri.
The colour scheme was inspired by the colours of a blazing flame including lots of red, orange and yellow set against a clean white background to highlight the fiery colours.
The theme was brought to life with lots of red hearts and elements of fire on the table including heart shaped macarons and cookies, mini dessert cups with hearts on them whilst the cake and cupcakes represented fire!
The jumbo red balloons stand out as a fun element to this dessert table and I love the tassels created for them!:
The fiery effect on the engagement cake looks amazing:
I love the concept and 3D effect of this heart backdrop which also tied in with the invitation:
The fire theme and colours were really seen throughout the array of desserts which included everything from mini dessert cups to cupcakes, macarons, cake pops and cookies:
The final little details really made this engagement dessert table extra special!:
I hope this engagement dessert table inspired anyone planning an engagement party or anyone wanting to do a party using this colour scheme!

Alex explains the inspiration behind this first birthday party:
“I started planning for my little one’s first birthday pretty much after she was born. I didn’t have a set theme to start off but I knew I wanted pastels colours, confetti and a touch of glitter gold.
Then at around 6 months, it became clear that Sahara’s favourite lullaby was and still is twinkle twinkle little star. So I sent my mood board to Belinda from Giggles & Grace Designs and she designed the sweetest printables”:
I just love the way the star theme is carried through this first birthday dessert table from the cake topper and cake to all the desserts and accessories:
This setup is so beautiful with a custom first birthday print! An area such as this at a first birthday party is perfect for special photos:
Alex explains more about this sweet setting at the party – “when possible, I love adding to my girls’ parties handmade touches. On this occasion, I made some party horns with fringed tissue paper. I also made a star cushion which is now in Sahara’s nursery. We had a small favour table with party boxes and a selection of photos from Sahara’ s first 12 months. I also decorated a small section with balloons, star stickers , a high chair and a cute milestone poster for Sahara and family to have photos taken”
Personalised and handmade touches make any birthday party extra special but moreso for that memorable first birthday party!
The little queen of the party herself – such a joyful smile and her cute first birthday outfit is styled to match her gorgeous party!:

I’m excited to share with you the first of 4 shoots put together as a Life’s Little Celebrations collaboration for the latest Confetti Fair Magazine! The shoots were inspired by air, fire, water and earth – and this baby shower was inspired by “air”
It was styled by the talented Meghan of Peppermint Sunday in Melbourne who coordinated many talented Life’s Little Celebration partners to contribute to this gorgeous setting. See all vendor credits at the end of this blog post:
Meghan’s vision for the Baby Shower to relate to an “Air” theme was to include Clouds, Balloons & Kites. To tie in the baby shower element, she brought in the “About to Pop”
Using various Life’s Little Celebration partners she created a baby shower which was pastel, fun and a bit quirky, with a pop of colour at the same time!
This baby shower cake was so pretty and unique – the colours really work so beautifully and the cake topper is so fun! “About to pop” really is a wonderful idea for a baby shower party theme!:
I just love this unique baby shower invitation with the balloon popping out of the invitation box when opened!:
I just love the mix of kite and cloud cookies in this baby shower backdrop!:
