How To Train Your Dragon Party

Many boys are loving “How to train your dragon” and with the release of the latest movie this is a popular kids party theme! Today we are featuring a fun setup by Sydney based Cookie Queen n Kitsch’n.

The stylist Traci explains about the setup – “A very excited Mum, Tracey contacted me in very early January and wanted to know if we could assist with her son Ethan’s 7th Birthday. She advised Ethan was a very passionate fan of the series How To Train Your Dragon and they want to work the party into the theme of the latest Hidden World with lots of Aqua with the Crystal Cave look, with the Black and natural tones, but to include Toothless and the new Night Fury Dragons.

This was definitely a challenge we were eager to accept, agreeing that we would design a new backdrop to put in our hire collection.  Jo’s Signs by Design as always gave us her professional quality and service and it looked amazing. The Dragons were brought to life, especially in the surrounds of the old venue at White Creek Stables, an old rustic horse stable situated under a huge old oak tree.

Our latest tailored cloth in the black ruffle suited perfectly, and we used black and a wooden half barrel to bring the table to life with some lighting.

We featured our ever popular custom cookies with our Magnum Pops done in Toothless himself!  They featured a bright blue cake inside that was blueberry flavoured.

The child favourite of light crystal jelly pots, and some dragon nest Sultan Meringues flavoured in bubblegum for a fun surprise.

Mum Tracey insisted she couldn’t go past needing our Gaytime Pots for the adults to indulge in.  Then there was the new Donut Pops for some extra fun for the boys after slaying dragons in their activities in the water canon bouncy castle.

The event was a huge hit, Ethan was smiling from ear to ear and couldn’t wait to dive into his HTTYD Cake with out custom designed personalised cake topper for some extra funk.

Tracey even made the take home favours herself, Dragon Eggs that were hidden in nests throughout the venue’s park area for the kids to find.

This will certainly be a fun and popular theme this year for kids parties! If you’re wanting to plan your own How to train your dragon party for your child, you can use the vendors below to recreate the same look:
