Excited to share this bright floral fiesta party by Cath Roberts of Faux Floral Designs which was a collaboration shoot for Issue 21 of Celebrating Little One’s magazine
She was inspired by the work of Frida Khalo and as her self portraits feature floral headwear she thought it was a great way to connect the vibrant colour theme with a fun activity of making flower crowns for a teenage birthday shoot!
As you can see the faux florals used throughout were a real feature!
Guests were greeted with a fun welcome area!
The invitation and all the stationery design matched the Floral Fiesta theme perfectly:
All the decorations and desserts were bright and fun – to make this floral fiesta party come alive!
The cake was a true work of art as an illustration Frida Khalo and featuring floral headwear:

The table arrangements carried on the bright colours and fiesta details!
A unique feature of this party was this custom spinning wheel which had design to match the theme!
The girls enjoyed making a flower crown each and this flower crown making workshop was perfect for this age group:

In our last magazine, Issue 21 of Celebrating Little One’s – we featured this stunning collaboration shoot by our Melbourne Celebrate Society members based around a floral nautical party theme! Have you ever seen these 2 themes combined? I haven’t but it was a stunning result! Styled by Minsik. Co it was a beautiful colour palette combining cute nautical features with gorgeous florals:

Starting with the beautiful floral illustrations and graphic design, the scene was set for a bloom inspired celebration for this baby shower picnic
The table matched the invitations perfectly with its stunning florals and candles and right down to the touches of the place settings, cookies and favours:
The table was perfect among the backdrop with gorgeous balloons complimenting the florals and stunning cake!
This truly was a one of a kind baby shower picnic setting, showing just how stunning an outdoor setting can be styled for a gorgeous baby shower event!

Just before lockdown, earlier in June, we were able to celebrate our daughter Naomi’s First Holy Communion. The wonderful Angie of Angie B Events styled the celebration for us with a floral theme – in collaboration with some amazing Celebrate Society members – and I think you will agree the result is truly stunning and so so special!
The photos were captured by Mimi Rouh Photography and the venue was at Cropley House.

The sun was glowing through the beautiful backdrop from Belle events which was decorated with stunning florals from Abby K Events and a personalised name sign by Press and Cut Co:
The Holy Communion cake by Sweet Fingers truly blew me away!! It was absolutely delicious too!
It was topped off with florals by Abby K Events and a Cross sign by Press and Cut Co. The result was so unique and beautiful!:
The acrylics by Press n Cut co on the backdrop and cake were truly stunning, and they also created personalised labels for the favour boxes:

These cookies with beautiful floral design by Cakes with Punch were enjoyed by all and was a beautiful take home favour for a Holy Communion:
We also showcased the stunning cross lights by Luxe Adore Co which give off such a beautiful glow and suit a Holy Communion celebration so well!
The floral design by Eve and Co Stationery helped to inspire so much of the decor and it was truly stunning and carried through to the plate covers and activity box labels. Her design was elegant and perfect for a Holy Communion invitation.
The activity boxes were created using favour boxes from The Party Parlour and they were filled with little toys for the kids to play with inside! Displayed so beautifully on this new acrylic cart from Belle Events!:

8 years ago when I started Life’s Little Celebrations Rebekah was only 6 months old…so it is surreal to now be sharing her Holy Communion photos! This was featured in Issue 8 of Celebrating Little One’s magazine so you may have seen the feature already but if not I hope you enjoy the photos and may be inspired for your own daughters First Holy Communion.
I really enjoyed planning the post Church Holy Communion Celebration as it was something I had never done before and it was a celebration which was truly special for Rebekah and for our family.
I decided to use the Event Angel services of Sweet Heavenly Events so that they could setup while I was at the Church. This removed a lot of stress and it was SO nice to walk into a room after the Church and be surprised at the beautiful setup which was done while I was at the Mass. Using the Event Angel service meant I could still be involved in deciding on vendors I wanted to use and the setup style – but they could also provide advice and then design a look for the day and set it all up for us.
I decided to go with a beautiful floral theme for her First Holy Communion celebration and this was the design from the Event Angel:
This is how it came to life on the day:
The florals were all inspired by the invitation by Eve and Co!
Jo’s Sign’s by Design created the stunning decals applied to the props from Sweet Heavenly Events.
The amazing Madame Fleur created the beautiful florals on the tables and the dessert setup and they were gorgeous!!
The beautiful cake by The Ultimate Food Co matched perfectly (and tasted delicious!) and was topped by a stylish topper by Communicake It:
The place settings were from Sweet Heavenly Events with place cards by Eve & Co:
The kids were provided also a customised lollipop from Delleicious by Elle:
