Moon & Stars Kids Party Feature

Our precious littles ones are so often our sun, our moon and all of our stars….and so the theme of this party inspiration shoot was born with an on-trend monochrome colour scheme which is versatile for many of life’s celebrations.

Styled and coordinated by The Donut Wall Stylist in collaboration with a range of vendors – the setting is modern, playful and unique !

The whole setup is truly gorgeous with a host of items for the kids to play and enjoy from ball pits and slides to delicious fairy floss and donuts!

We just love this acrylic donut wall with the marble effect donuts which match the balloons and cake!

The kids would be sure to have enjoyed the fairy floss cart!:

Unicorn Kids Party Feature

There’s no doubt that the most loved kids party theme of 2017 (and still so popular heading into 2018!) is a Unicorn party theme.

It was this theme that was the inspiration behind our Life’s Little Celebrations collaboration photoshoot put together especially for the launch issue of Confetti Fair magazine.

This shoot was styled and coordinated beautifully by Saffy & May in Brisbane who coordinated and sourced items from Life’s Little Celebration members to put together the most prettiest of settings in pastels with a touch of gold!

The tulle tablecloths used throughout created such a dreamy feel and the balloon arch (another popular party item lately!) added stunning pops of colour along with the gorgeous backdrop and fun unicorn pinata!

The desserts surounding the gorgeous unicorn cake included vanilla and strawberry mousse, donuts, cupcakes and cookies.

The sweet children’s table decor included mini balloon pops and adorable star and cloud rainbow wands. At each place setting was a unicorn themed cookie mix bottle and each chair was adorned with unicorn hats and pastel tassels.

Unicorn themed partyware was used with stunning unicorn plates and napkins mixed with gold plates and ombre pink and gold cups.

In addition to the dreamy unicorn favour boxes and wands each guest took home a beautiful unicorn crown headband!

This setup truly showcases the quality and variety of items you can find from members of Life’s Little Celebrations and I credit Saffy and May for pulling it all together perfectly!

Summer Pastel Fruity Kids Party

A fruity theme is always popular in Summer…and there has been many a bright tutti frutti party showcased online – so for this summery setup for the 3rd issue of Celebrating Little One’s e-magazine , stylists Mooi. Co decided on more of a pastel colour scheme with fruits of lemons, and limes and other summery fruits.

The result is a delightful setup with a relaxed table for the kids, lemonade stand and dessert table filled with desserts inspired by summery fruits! I love the mix of colours of yellows, peach, mint green and pinks for a fruity kids party theme!

This was a collaboration of Life’s Little Celebration members and you can find the talented vendor list at the end of this blog post!

Now with New Years Eve coming up soon it’s the perfect time to share more images and details from this bright and fun New Years Eve shoot featured in Issue 3 of our e-magazine! Styled by Dream a Little Dream events we absolutely LOVE the pink spin on what is normally a black/white/gold affair and love how kids were incorporated into the celebrations.

Naomi’s 5th Mermaid Birthday

My daughter Naomi loves to swim and so of course her favourite Princess is Ariel. For her 5th birthday she requested a mermaid party – which I was secretly delighted about as it is a theme I really love too!

I’m no stylist…just a mum who loves children’s parties like all of you! However I definitely had fun putting this together and all the pieces from various Life’s Little Celebrations members really made the theme come alive.

This party was featured in Issue 2 of Celebrating Little One’s magazine and since Issue 3 is due out tomorrow I thought I better get around to sharing it!!

Naomi was SO excited about her birthday.  As a mum – it always gives me great joy to see the birthday excitement that comes about around party time from my kids! Now that we have 4 little one’s I don’t go all out for every party however after keeping things low key for Joshua’s 2nd birthday and Rebekah’s 6th birthday during my pregnancy I wanted to do something a little special for Naomi’s 5th birthday.

As far as decor I decided to incorporate the iridescent trend starting from the invitations and stationery, to the plates and tableware to the decorations via the wall tassels and balloon tassels and the beautiful desserts. I went with clear plinths, cake stands and chairs which helped all the colours to stand out. Enjoy the photos by Captured by Kirri and all the vendor credits are listed at the end of this post!

The layers and iridescent touches in this invitation by Eve and Co were truly gorgeous!:

Here is the dessert table setup and as you can see the clear plinths and cake stands from Sweet Heavenly Events really help the backdrop and balloons to stand out!:

The details on the cake and desserts by Sweets with Love were nothing short of amazing! The colours and iridescent touches were featured beautifully on the cake, cheesecakes, tarts and donuts!:

I love all the amazing balloon touches and decor from Party Splendour!

The iridescent look continued onto the kids table through the partyware and and tablecloth:

These cookie mix bottles from Sweet Health were the perfect extra party favour for the kids to take home, bake and enjoy!

The kids also took home these iridescent party bags from Favor Lane with cute shell tags by Eve and Co, filled with some edible goodies and a few mermaid themed items:

Ariel of course had to be a part of the day which Naomi was so excited about!

Thank you to these Life’s Little Celebration members involved in Naomi’s celebration!
