Milk and Cookies – Christmas Eve Shoot

About 1-2 years ago I did a mini shoot for the My Little Jedi magazine (now ‘One Lovely Day‘) and I realised I never blogged about it so now is the perfect time to share a little bit of this simple Christmas Eve setup

It is based around a milk & cookies theme and I set it up quite simply – as a mum, for other mum’s – using inexpensive items!

The idea was to have a little set up of milk and cookies to enjoy while opening gifts. This is a little tradition I grew up with – we would go to church at Midnight and come home and open presents at 1am in the morning. I loved it! Although you could use the same idea for a Christmas day morning or a fun milk/cookies for Santa setup.

I used different flavoured milk as well as milk with little tin pails of flavouring powder. Store bought cookies in simple cookie jars and also store bought confectionery (maltesers etc) in little cupcake cases. Printables were from Ham & Pea Design and Paperie

Hope you enjoyed the photos and it gives you a bit of inspiration if you want to set up a little snack table for the kids to enjoy while opening their gifts!

Let me take this opportunity also to thank all of you for being a part of Life’s Little Celebrations this year through reading the blog, being a part of the facebook community or being a vendor on the directory. I truly truly appreciate your support and all the connections I have made from this blog and directory. It was a risk to take the leap to have a completely new site designed as a directory but thank’s to everyone’s support it has all come together!

I wish you and your family a joyful Christmas together!

I will be taking a break over Christmas/New Year and will be back blogging from Monday 6th January
