Party finds from not-so party shops
As a mum of 2 little ones under 3…I don’t have the luxury of wandering the shopping centres or streets hunting down unique props and party accessories. I know there are bargains to be had out there….but for now, most of my shopping is done online!
So today I thought I would share a few finds from some stores which you can find in your shopping centres but also visit online – perfect for me because if I do get to visit a shopping centre alone I can run in and quickly to buy what I need after already seeing it online without browsing the whole store (ok I still browse the whole store anyway…!…)
Anyways the stores below (which I know most of you know and love anyway!) while not being specifically party stores, often have lots of things you can use to style your table!
Nearly all the finds below are under $20 and some under $10. Lots more on their websites!
Most of you know TYPO has wooden letters but check out these new MAP letters…perfect for a travel theme/aeroplane theme/pirate theme:
Blackboards are always popping up these days at parties/dessert tables:
Also loving the cute canvas art at TYPO. Here is a cute one for a girl nautical theme!:
Homeware & linen shops like My House often have some unique home decorate items you can use for props at VERY affordable prices. This would be perfect for any girly party although you could style it specifically for a ballerina party or a french inspired do:
Am LOVING these finds from Adairs Kids! Who knew they had they this stuff? Not me!:
Gorgeous playtent for a girly theme, but they also have BOYS ones too. These are perfect for kids in to play in during the party AND obviously to keep and play in for many days to come:
Cute for a vintage style baby shower perhaps?:
Canopies like these make lovely backdrops & can be used in a bedroom after…& they are less than $30 !
A bit more expensive but you could use this many times over & use it for storage as well:
I know you all love Kikki.K. They have fantastic items you could use as party favours…like these notebooks for a rainbow party !
So there you go…a few more ideas of places to explore when planning your next party =)
